That's the entire list. It's stored in localStorage, not a cookie — it never
leaves your browser, is never sent to our server on any request, and holds nothing more
than the string "true" or "false".
Why localStorage instead of a cookie
A cookie that tracks consent-to-cookies is a small irony we'd rather skip. localStorage does the same job — persists across visits, survives a reload — without being transmitted to a server on every request the way a cookie is. Simpler, and arguably more private by default.
Analytics — not live yet
No analytics tool is installed on this site as of 2026-07-31. The consent banner and
the localStorage gate above exist ahead of that, not after — when analytics (planned:
Google Analytics 4) is switched on, it will be wired to fire only once
weirdgirlstore_analytics_consent reads "true". At that point this
table gets a new row (or rows) naming the specific cookies GA4 sets —
typically _ga (2-year expiry, distinguishes users) and
_ga_<container-id> (session-state, ~2-day expiry) — with real values, not
placeholders. Until that edit happens, treat any claim that GA4 cookies are in use as
wrong; this page is the source of truth, checked against the actual codebase.
Amazon's cookies
Product links on every listing route to Amazon.com carrying our Associates tag. Amazon sets its own cookies on amazon.com, not on this domain — they're not readable or writable by Weird Girl Store, and they follow Amazon's own cookie and privacy policies, not this one. Their purpose (as documented by Amazon) is standard: session handling, cart state, and affiliate-referral attribution so commissions get credited correctly.
Cloudflare
This site is served through Cloudflare's network. Cloudflare may set operational cookies for security purposes (e.g. bot-mitigation, DDoS protection) on some requests; these are infrastructure-level and not used by Weird Girl Store for tracking or advertising.
Managing your choice
Click "Cookie preferences" in the footer of any page to clear your stored consent value and see the banner again. You can also clear it manually through your browser's site-data / storage settings, searching for weirdgirlstore.com.
